ARCADIA is the first Romanian professional association with a specific focus on the field of international development. We target those individuals willing to become members of a professional association and to discuss freely about international development topics, irrespective of their professional affiliation. Our association aims to offer a neutral space for debate to all involved professionals coming from various sectors: government, non-governmental, academic, business or mass- media.
Our mission is to bring a genuine contribution to the evolution of Romanian professionals and along with other actors, promote the field of international development at the national level. In this respect, our primary objectives are: 1) Strengthening the network of Romanian experts who work in international development; 2) Helping them to further develop their competences in the field; 3) Enhancing knowledge and expertise transfer amongst members.
